A two-hour hike in the green and beautiful Steindalen valley brings you up to the Steindal Glacier, where an authorised glacier guide provides a briefing on safety and equipment. The actual glacier hike takes 3-4 hours. Bring a wind and waterproof jacket, sunglasses, hiking boots, a woollen hat and gloves.
