Tromsø’s hotels collectively offer around 2000 beds, and maintain a good, international standard. There are a wide range of options and you will find alternatives to fit any budget. Most of the hotels are located in the city centre, close to shopping, nightlife and restaurants.

In the areas surrounding Tromsø, and also in Lyngen, there are many nice small, country hotels, guest houses, fishermen’s cottages and camping grounds, and it is also possible to rent cabins in the area. Accommodation is often offered in conjunction with the rental of fishing equipment, boats, cycles or horses, or where locally made food and crafts are on offer.
