This tour is conducted by Tromsø Villmarkssenter. Experience the sea life close up! In kayaks, we will paddle along the scenic coastline of Håkøya Island. The wild mountains around Tromsø will form the background to our journey

This tour is an amazing opportunity to see the Arctic nature and marine wildlife.

The actual route will be planned according to the weather, but the preffered location is the sheltered waters around Håkøya Island, in the Tromsø Sound. We will spend at least 1.5 hours on the sea while traveling through an area with plentiful marine bird reserves. If we are lucky, sea eagles, terns, harbor purpoises and seals can be spotted.

You don’t need previouis kayaking experience or certification to join this trip. We use double kayaks that are safe and stable for beginners, and all necessary safety instructions will be provided before we depart. If you have previous experience and are interested in more of a challenge, contact us about using single kayaks instead.

NOTE: Guiding provided in English only.
