Midnight Sun Hiking

Experience the Midnight sun with an off-the-beaten-track hike to see to beautiful clear lakes, endless fjords and the stunning golden light of endless Arctic days!

Our journey starts when we pick you up from your hotel and take a scenic drive (approx. 30 minutes to 1 hour) to find the perfect mountain on Kvaløya (Whale Island) for our midnight adventure. Our certified guide will provide a detailed briefing of the hike before starting.

We will take our time to fully appreciate the magnificent mountains and fjords with time for breaks along the way and a longer recovery around the fire at the summit.

As we are enjoying the phenomenon of endless sunlight, colourful skies and amazing reflections from the sea, our certified guide will take pictures of you and will give you tips how to catch this special light with your camera.

After accomplishing our mission of making Arctic memories, we will drive you safely back to your hotel.

Included: hotel pick up and drop off, scenic road trip, certified guide, snacks, high quality backpack for use on the trip, sitting pads, hiking poles, digital photos of your trip within 24 hours

Please bring: your camera, wrap up with light wool layers, comfortable hiking boots, bring drinks and other snacks

Pick up from outside of your hotel in the city centre. If you are staying at an AirBnB or other private accommodation, you need to choose one of the hotels in the city centre for the pick up.
