Join us at the Northern Lights hotspot Aurora Spirit for possibly the best way to start off your Northern Lights holiday: an evening filled with all the information and demonstrations you will ever need for a successful chase. And the best part? Situated east of the Lyngen Alps in the middle of the Aurora belt, we can offer you some of the highest Northern Lights viewing probability in Norway.
During your stay, we will teach you when and how the Northern Lights occurs, how to maximise your chances of spotting it, and give you an insight into the mythical history behind it. Everything is designed to ensure you have the best tools possible for your future expeditions. To make it even better, we have included a Bivrost tasting and a Northern Lights photography course so you know how to capture your very own shots!

17.30: Pick-up in Tromsø City Centre
Transfer through the spectacular Lyngen Alps by bus and a beautiful ferry trip.
19.30: Arrival at AuroraSpirit
19.30: Local Tapas – taste of Lyngen (Lyngen shrimps, whisky smoked salmon, wild goat salami, goat cheese, potato salad, (milk, egg, mustard seed), scrambled eggs, bread and coffee.
20.00: Aurora 101 Course
22.00: Return to Tromsø
If the Aurora appears during the course or transfer, you will be alerted and have the chance to go outside and enjoy this spectacular phenomenon. There are many hot spots for cameras outside the distillery. Why not use the Lyngen Alps and the Aurora as a fantastic motive for your photos.

Pick-up in Tromsø: 17.30 at Scandic Ishavshotell. Back in Tromsø at around 23.30
The transfer is in many ways an experience on its own; You will cross the Ullsfjord by ferry, travel through the heart of the Lyngen Alps and the picturesque village of Lyngseidet, and if the light is right you will get a spectacular view of the Lyngen Alps.
