During this tour, you can let our experienced guide take you to our favorite locations or customise the route to match your preferences. The Arctic is a magical place that offers special moments through and around the fjords. We love nature, and we believe we share this passion with you. Thus, we have created a scenic and educational sightseeing tour in which we will explore the fjords in the Arctic landscape around the region of Tromsø.
Your tour will begin after meeting at our basecamp in central Tromsø for a quick briefing and overview of the area you will explore. You will head out in our Tesla Model X with a personal guide who will be with you for the entire duration of the tour. This tour offers the perfect combination for those looking to explore the fjords that face the Atlantic ocean while enjoying an incredible setting with your private group and an experienced guide.
During the tour, we will take you to 3 main spots located on the island of Kvaløya. Our first stop is Ersfjord, a local coastal village that was traditionally a fishing village but is now a stunning fjord popular among visitors and great for those looking to take photos.
The next location we will take you to is Sommarøy, a small island connected to Kvaløya via a bridge. Sommarøy is known for its stunning nature, with crystal-clear blue waters and sandy beaches with peak mountains in the background, giving you a dramatic view of the Arctic landscape.
The last stop for the route is Hella, where you can find old rock carvings. The fjord side road passing through Hella is a treat for all senses.
During one of the stops above, we will serve a light picnic consisting of wraps and hot drinks. Depending on the time, we may make a few other stops at photogenic locations, and if you are lucky, we may spot reindeer, moose, eagles and other wildlife along the way. It’s a tour for the entire family, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions, take pictures and stretch your legs in the amazing Arctic environment that we love so much.
