Marianne's Hiking Tour

General information

This tour is operated by Marianne's Heaven on Earth Aurora Chaser Tours.

If we are lucky, we may see some of the wildlife living in this area, including reindeer, eagles and other birds, while listening to ancient folklore stories connected to the region. I am Marianne, and both my guides and I are professional photographers.

We specialise in natural and low-light photography, as well as all things rural, including flora and fauna. I am originally from Tromvik, a small fishing village west of Tromsø.

My family and I have lived and worked on this land since the early 1700s. We would love to share this beautiful landscape — which we call “Heaven on Earth” — with you. Join us in my very own Garden of Eden and experience the fjords and landscapes through my eyes.

From the city centre, we will drive approximately one hour through scenic fjords and mountains. Along the way, our guides will share local information and folklore stories.

Upon arrival, we will guide you on an easy to moderate hike lasting approximately one to two hours each way, depending on the pace of the group. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and breathe in the clean, fresh Norwegian air.
