This tour is conducted by North Experience. We invite you to join us on a fun snowmobile safari through varied terrain where the locals ride.

General information

You’ll be part of a small group and get to explore a beautiful natural area outside Tromsø. During our evening tour, you may even experience the northern lights.

Upon arrival at camp we serve you a hot dinner. Once you're finished you dress in warm winter gear and begin the adventure after some safety instructions and a practical demonstration. It is then time to follow our 20 km snowmobiling track that leads you to the snow-covered mountains.

We will stop during the trip to take photos and play in the snow. You will drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile and plenty of opportunities to switch places during the two-hour snowmobiling excursion.

fter driving back down the trail and parking the snowmobiles, we return the snowmobile gear and it is time to say goodbye (or sleep in our Aurora cabins!)

Note: To drive a snowmobile, you must hold a valid driver’s licence.

Age limit: Minimum 12 years old. Children aged 12–15 must also meet the minimum height requirement of 140 cm.

Duration: 7.75 hours including transfer to & from Tromsø.
You will spend between 1.5 to 2 hours on the snowmobile.

Departure time and place: This provider offer two departure options. Please follow the instructions below.

Booking with transfer from Tromsø:
- Meeting time and place: 5 PM (17:00) from outside Radisson Blu Hotel, Tromsø (please arrive 15min early)
- Return to Tromsø: around Approximately 00:45 (past midnight)

Booking without transfer:
- Meeting time and place: Oteren at 6:20 PM (18:20), at "Welcome Hotel Inn Lyngskroa"
