4-Day Whale Safari from Tromsø

Join a four-day adventure combining whale watching, Northern Lights and fishing in the Arctic wilderness. Along the way, you can experience majestic mountains, beautiful fjords and, when conditions are favourable, the Northern Lights. One of the highlights is the opportunity to see humpback whales and orcas in their natural habitat.

The tour is conducted aboard Arctic Princess, a comfortable catamaran with a heated saloon and spacious outdoor areas. The vessel moves quietly through the water to minimise disturbance to the whales.

During the journey to the whale-watching area, you can sit on the net at the front of the catamaran and enjoy the scenery just one metre above the sea. When daylight arrives, the boat heads towards the area where the whales may be found.

In the evenings, the boat may dock in a small village, in one of the nearby fjords or at Skjervøy. The route and overnight locations depend on the weather and sea conditions.

This tour is ideal for guests who want to leave the city behind and spend several days at sea. You may also have the opportunity to try fishing. If you catch fish, it can be prepared and served for dinner.

The skipper remains with the guests throughout the tour and helps ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Along the way, you will hear stories and learn about the local area.
