Arctic cross country skiing adventure for beginners

General information

Your morning adventure begins at our Welcome Center, where our guides give a short introduction to the equipment. From here, we carry our skis and walk a few minutes until we reach the trail. In the trail area, you will get to try cross-country skiing in beautiful mountain surroundings with stunning views.

Glide between Norwegian timber cabins and pine forests, and finish the experience with something warm to drink and traditional Norwegian lefse in our restaurant. During the session, you will learn how to take your skis on and off, before practicing basic techniques in a completely flat and safe area. After some training, you will try different techniques and challenge yourself on small hills.

From Målselv Mountain Village, we enjoy fantastic views and a unique location with a ski resort, accommodation, and a restaurant. Surrounded by untouched nature, the clear fresh air, pristine snow, and peaceful atmosphere make this an unforgettable start to your day. Whether you are an experienced skier or a complete beginner, this morning tour offers the perfect balance of activity and Arctic tranquility.

Transport from Tromsø is not included

Included: Skis, Poles, Ski boots, Guide, Warm drink and snack in the restaurant after the tour
Please bring: Warm clothing, Since the weather in Northern Norway can change quickly, it is mandatory to wear warm and windproof clothing. Winter clothing is not included in the tour price, but can be rented separately at our rental center upon request.
