In summer 2026, travel by bus and ferry between the Capital of the Arctic, Tromsø, Senja, Andøya, Vesterålen, and the towns of Svolvær and Kabelvåg in Lofoten.

Travel aboard the iconic red Arctic Route bus, route number 930, and discover the spectacular landscapes between Tromsø, Senja, Vesterålen, and Lofoten. This flexible hop-on/hop-off route combines comfortable bus travel with scenic ferry crossings, giving you the freedom to explore Northern Norway at your own pace. The bus services are operated by Arctic Route, part of Best Arctic, while ferry crossings are operated by public ferry companies and are included in your ticket.

Luggage information
Each traveller may bring:

One small piece of hand luggage that fits under the seat or in the overhead compartment
One larger luggage item with maximum dimensions of height + width + length = 200 cm and a weight limit of 23 kg

Important ferry information
On the ferry crossing between Gryllefjord and Andenes, the bus itself does not travel onboard the ferry. Passengers must board the ferry on foot with their luggage. Upon arrival, another red Arctic Route bus will be waiting on the opposite side to continue the journey.
