This tour is conducted by Northern Shots. This is an actual CHASE after the northern lights and we are so confident of spotting them, that we offer you a 50% discount on another tour whenever for any reason we are not lucky enough on the first attempt!

General information

Based on weather and solar activity reports, our experienced guides will take you where the chances of spotting the Aurora are the best. If needed, we will drive to completely different areas in search of clear skies (sometimes all the way to the Finland), covering a radius of over 150 km!
A professional photographer will also be there to teach you all the tips & tricks for you to capture the northern lights on your own camera or to take professional photographs of you together with the Aurora (optional).

Bring warm clothing and a great mood while we provide a great team, extra comfortable buses (with toilet on board), tasty cookies and warm drinks.

Remember to check-in at the latest 30 minutes before departure, by our "Booking Point" office at Roald Amundsens Plass 1A. Check your booking for the correct departure time.

We are a Tromsø based activity provider specialized in Northern Lights chase and photography. 


We work with FITs and Groups, offering fully customizeable tours both private and not, in addition to our daily guaranteed departures. Our tours are dynamic chases conducted in English, by coach, with departure from the city centre and adaptable itineraries according to weather conditions in the region. Our guides are all professional photographers.



Since 2017 we can accommodate requests for tours all year long.



For the summer season we offer sightseeing tours and midnight sun / nature photographic tours in the city of Tromsø and its surroundings.
