Northern lights sightings and viewing stops cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on the weather and viewing conditions.

Comfort and safety

Professional drivers provide a safe and comfortable journey. The spacious, semi-reclining seats allow you to relax and rest during the overnight trip.

An eye mask, earplugs and a blanket are included. Free Wi-Fi and power outlets are available on board.

For safety and comfort reasons, children must be at least 4 years old to travel on the Aurora Express.

Animals are not permitted on board, with the exception of guide dogs.

Please note that Arctic weather and road conditions may result in longer journey times and delayed arrivals.

Food and drinks

A light snack box is provided upon departure, and a breakfast buffet is included upon arrival. Complimentary hot and cold drinks are also available during the journey.

Please note that breakfast is not included for passengers arriving at Santa Claus Village.

Itinerary from Rovaniemi to Tromsø

• Departure from Rovaniemi Bus Station: 11 PM (23:00)
• Pick-up at Santa Claus Village: 11:15 PM (23:15)
• Arrival in Levi: approximately 1:40 AM (01:40)
• Arrival in Kilpisjärvi: approximately 6:10 AM (06:10)
• Arrival at Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø: approximately 7:45 AM (07:45), Norwegian time

The bus may make northern lights viewing stops along the route if the northern lights appear and conditions are suitable.

Please arrive at the bus stop no later than 15 minutes before departure.

Luggage allowance

Included:

• One suitcase weighing a maximum of 23 kg
• One small piece of hand luggage

Extra luggage:

• A maximum of one additional suitcase per passenger
• Additional luggage fee: NOK 500
• Luggage capacity is limited. Bags exceeding the stated luggage allowance cannot be accepted.

Seat selection

Seats are not individually assigned. When booking, you can select your preferred seat type: upper or lower deck and a single or double seat.

Departure locations

The bus departs from Rovaniemi Bus Station and stops at Santa Claus Village.

Look for the red double-decker bus marked with Aurora Express.
