Aurora Snowshoe Nightwalk

This tour is operated by GuideGunnar.

I have three snowshoeing locations available, and you will experience one of them, depending on where the best weather is found:

  • 55 km west of the city we will climb a hill with an excellent view of the local islands and ocean from Ørnfløya mountain.

  • 25 km west of the city we will take an easy hike up on a hill with a lovely view over two fjords and the surrounding mountains.

  • 45 km north of the city we will do a hike from my own backyard and up to the mountains. From there, we will see a lovely view over the sea and all the way to the Lyngen Alps, as long as the weather is in our favour.

I will equip you with a thermo suit and good boots for a walk in the snow on snowshoes. Depending on the weather you`ll get treated with a tasty pastry and hot drinks.

If we`re lucky with the weather and Aurora activity, you`ll see the performance of Lady Aurora too.

Minimum age to participate: 15 years, up to 75 years

Included: Snowshoes and walking poles, head torch, camera tripods, hot drinks and local sweet snacks, photos, thermal suit and warm boots

Please bring: Bring a small backpack with room for a warm jumper or fleece, extra socks, a water bottle, a camera and a tripod (if you have your own)
