This tour is operated by Best Arctic.

Hop aboard Tromsø’s unique fjord tour and enjoy a scenic and budget-friendly journey to the beautiful island of Sommarøy – known for its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters and dramatic fjord landscapes. Unlike traditional bus tours, our double-deck bus offers incredible panoramic views from the upper deck, perfect for taking in fjords, islands, wildlife and Arctic scenery along the route.

Important to know:

- No food is included. Please bring your own lunch if desired. During the stop in Sommarøy, you can visit the restaurant at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel (open daily) or the local supermarket (closed on Sundays).

- There are no seat reservations – first come, first served.

- During the winter season, this tour is operated by our unique double-decker panoramic bus. During the summer season, it is operated by a comfortable coach.

Meeting time and place:

From 01/05/2026 - 31/08/2026 – Summer Season: 9:45 AM (09:45) in front of the Best Arctic office in Tromsø – Sjøgata 7, 9008 Tromsø. You will be back in Tromsø between 3 PM (15:00) and 4 PM (16:00).

From 01/09/2026: 9:45 AM (09:45) at the Best Arctic check-in desk inside Prostneset Bus Terminal (at the harbour) in Tromsø – Samuel Arnesens gate 1, 9008 Tromsø. You will be back in Tromsø between 3 PM (15:00) and 4 PM (16:00).

Included: Round-trip transport from Tromsø, English-speaking guide, scenic coastal and fjord route with multiple photo stops, onboard commentary about the region, free time to explore Sommarøy’s beaches and viewpoints, and a hot drink
Please bring: Warm clothing, gloves, a hat, sturdy footwear and preferably your own lunch
