This tour is operated by Best Arctic.
Join a guided fjord tour from Tromsø to Sommarøy and experience fjords, islands, mountains and coastal landscapes along the way. The journey includes several photo stops before you have time to explore Sommarøy at your own pace.
During the journey, your guide will share information about the region and the landscapes you pass. On Sommarøy, you will have time to explore the beaches and viewpoints before returning to Tromsø.
During the winter season, the tour is operated with Best Arctic's double-decker panoramic bus, offering good views from the upper deck. During the summer season, a comfortable coach is used.

Food and drink: Food is not included. You are welcome to bring your own lunch. During the stop on Sommarøy, you can also visit the restaurant at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel, which is open daily, or the local supermarket, which is closed on Sundays.
Please bring: Warm clothing suitable for the weather, gloves or mittens, a hat and sturdy footwear. We also recommend bringing your own lunch.

Meeting time, place and departure:
• 1 May–31 August 2026: Meet at 9:45 AM (09:45) outside the Best Arctic office, Sjøgata 7, 9008 Tromsø. Departure at 10 AM (10:00).
• From 1 September 2026: Meet at 9:45 AM (09:45) at the Best Arctic check-in desk inside Tromsø Bus Terminal Prostneset, Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008 Tromsø. Departure at 10 AM (10:00).
Duration: Approximately 5–6 hours. You will return to Tromsø between 3 PM and 4 PM (15:00–16:00).
Important information:
• Food is not included.
• Specific seats cannot be reserved. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• During the winter season, the tour is operated with a double-decker panoramic bus. During the summer season, a comfortable coach is used.
