Guided E-bike Ride

Come and experience the fjord and mountains on your own electric bike.

General information

This tour is operated by Activenorth.

With a powerful motor, the bike takes you to the top of the mountain to enjoy views overlooking the fjord. Together with our experienced guide, we take you closer to nature for a wonderful experience in the Lyngenfjord region.

We take groups of up to 4 people, and a helmet is included.

The trip lasts approximately 2 hours. We will make several stops along the way, giving you time to take photographs. If you would like a longer tour, this can be arranged in advance.

When returning to the camp, you will be served snacks, mountain spring water, coffee and tea.

We recommend checking the weather forecast before the tour. Please bring water and additional snacks if desired. The bike ride can be customised to your preferred difficulty level and will be agreed upon before the trip.

About Activenorth

Activenorth’s people are a family of five. We live in Skibotn, where we have built our own house, as well as the dog kennel, on Tomas’ family farm.

It all began with one dog named Grace in 2007, and today we have around 30 dogs. We have been running dog sledding tours for tourists since 2008, but this year we are starting a new chapter in our own backyard.

Over the years, we have competed in the world’s longest eight-dog race nine times. We have taken part in races across Finland, Sweden and along the border with Russia.

These incredible dogs have never let us down – not during blizzards, in temperatures as low as -45°C, on difficult trails or in whiteout conditions.

The dogs are our family’s passion, and the children are always included when we race.
