Join man’s best friend on an exciting dog sledding adventure in scenic surroundings, with return transport from Tromsø city centre.

General information

This tour is operated by Best Arctic.

Around 1.5 hours from Tromsø, you will find the kennel surrounded by mighty mountains and deep valleys, making this safari a true Northern Norwegian Arctic experience. Here, you will be greeted by happy huskies eagerly waiting to take you out on a fantastic dog sledding adventure.

Warm winter suits, winter boots and mittens are provided to help keep you comfortable during the experience. After a short safety briefing in English on how to handle the dogs and sleds, you will head out in pairs. One person will be the musher, or driver, while the other sits on the sled. You will change places along the way.

The huskies love to run, but you are part of the team and will need to help them up the slopes. This is a fun and memorable experience, but it also involves some physical effort.

Back at the camp, hot soup and drinks await.
