Enjoy an unforgettable Arctic tour under the midnight sun.

General information

This tour is operated by Aurora 7.

The experience begins in Tromsø, with departure from Scandic Ishavshotel or Breivika harbour. We travel by bus or minivan through the beautiful landscapes of Kvaløya, Kaldfjord and Ersfjordbotn before reaching the lovely island of Sommarøy, where time seems to stand still.

Along the route, we stop at scenic viewpoints to admire the Arctic nature and take photos. With a bit of luck, we may also see reindeer, moose, eagles and Arctic flora along the way.

Upon arrival at Sommarøy, we enjoy a local snack with hot drinks. When the clock strikes midnight, we experience the beautiful and unique light of the midnight sun before returning to Tromsø.

Our tours are tailored to the departure and arrival times of all cruises and include pick-up and drop-off.

Included: Traditional Norwegian meal, hot drinks, transport by minivan/minibus and local guide

Please bring: Warm clothing, outerwear suitable for rain and wind, drinking water, gloves and warm shoes
