Northern lights excursion by minivan. Every evening we use the latest weather updates to choose the area around Tromso with best chances for clear skies.

General information

This tour is conducted by Green Gold of Norway.

At 7 pm, we pick you up outside main entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel and walk you 100 meters to our office where we show you the proper Aurora/night photography settings on your camera/mobile phone. Then we give you warm overalls and boots, and drive you straight to the best spot. Some nights the Aurora is visible as soon as we arrive, while other evenings we relax with coffee and muffins while we wait for her.


Included: Photography tips, guide in English, Northern Lights Chase by minivan, warm overalls, boots, coffee,tea, muffins, pictures sent to your email.

Please bring: warm/winter clothes

Departure time and place: 19:00 reception of Radisson Blue hotel in Tromsø.

Duration: 6 - 8 hours.

From September to April we run our popular 24 hrs activity stay packages which includes photography, RIB-boat (whale watching) or snowmobile excursions in the day time, and Northern Lights chase and accommodation in our crystal lavvo in the evening.
