Northern Light Tour by coach/big bus

This tour is conducted by Northern Light Travel.

A Northern Lights tour typically involves traveling to area’s where the Aurora borealis is visible, often in winter months when nights are longest and skies are darkest.

Guests are often encouraged to be patient, as the Northern Lights are unpredictable. The tour may involve waiting outside for extended periods.

Our tour is guided by experienced guides who know the best locations and times for viewing the Northern Lights. They'll often share insights about the science and folklore behind the Aurora.

All our tours often take you away from city lights to dark areas with clear views of the sky, increasing your chances of seeing the aurora.

Since temperatures can drop significantly at night, tours may recommend or provide thermal clothing to keep participants warm, we offer hot drinks, snacks to keep you comfortable while waiting for the lights.

Availability period: This Northern Lights chase by Northern Light Travel is available during the period 1st November 2025 to 15th February 2026.

Languages: The tour is guided in English. However, the languages Spanish, Arabic, Danish and German are available on request.

Included: Guide, transport, hot drinks and snacks
Please bring: Warm clothes, Thermo suite, gloves, hat and scarf
Number of participants: 8 – 45
Level of difficulty: Easy, but please be aware that it can be very cold
Departure time and place: 6 PM (18:00) from the parking lot in front of Prostneset Bus & Boat Terminal (Kaigata 4, Tromsø)
