Are you searching for an authentic outdoor experience? Would you like to sleep under the northern lights? This is a private tour with outdoor activities and accommodation in heated transparent mini-cabin. It is a unique experience to lie in a warm bed watching the northern lights, a beautiful natural phenomenon. You will be guided by Arctic Trip, a local outdoor family, one hour away from the city centre of Tromsø (Nordkjosbotn).

    About Arctic Trip

    Arctic Trip is a small family company providing northern lights all-inclusive (outdoor activities, icefishing, snowshoeing, skiing, sleeping in a tent or a transparent cabin, sightseeing, photographing) tours in Troms area.


    One to several days sightseeing tours with main focus on photographing are also possible. In summertime we do kayakfishing and hiking trips. We are focusing on small groups up to 12 person.



    Company owner Roy has lived all his life in Troms, and it has always been important for him to be close to nature. His passion to the northern lights is easy to feel. He has been guiding since 2007, with excellent reviews. His wife Reetta has graduated as a nature guide from Finland, and she is also working in Arctic Trip company. We often invite our guests to visit our home. On our trips you can get to know the local culture and lifestyle.



    We prepare local, homemade food on our tours, and use local ingredients when we can. If you prefer vegetarian food, just let us know.
