Reindeer Feeding and Sami Culture with a Chance of Northern lights with Dinner in Autumn

This tour is operated by Tromsø Lapland.

Away from the city lights, but just 50 minutes from Tromsø city centre, our camp allows you to experience the true reality of Arctic winter nights. In the cold silence of Northern Norway, you will meet our reindeer, feed them and perhaps witness the Northern Lights dancing across the sky.

After enjoying a taste of Bidos (vegan and gluten-free option available), our Sami guides will lead you through centuries of history and tradition, sharing stories, anecdotes and tales from their culture. The vegan option includes a Norwegian-style vegetable soup with potatoes, turnip, carrots, onions and leek, seasoned with salt, pepper and spices, and served with a gluten-free broth.

Come ready to be amazed and ask plenty of questions – they can’t wait to share their culture with you.

• 50 minutes of scenic transfer to the camp and back to the city
