About us

Escape the city lights and embark on a magical evening journey from the heart of Tromsø. After a 90-minute scenic bus ride, you’ll arrive in the remote and serene Tamok Valley, home to our wilderness camp, Camp Tamok.Upon arrival, your experienced guide will greet you and provide thermal suits, boots, and gloves to ensure you stay warm and comfortable in the Arctic winter. After a short transfer by minibus, you’ll meet our friendly reindeer herd, a small group of 5-6 reindeer. Listen to captivating stories about the Sami way of life, their deep connection to nature, and their traditions passed down through generations. You’ll also have the opportunity to feed the animals, creating a personal connection with these iconic Arctic creatures.

Meanwhile, surrounded by only darkness, the stage is set for one of nature’s most breathtaking displays as this evening adventure offers a unique chance to witness the Northern Lights dancing across the sky, a truly magical experience.

After your cultural immersion, return to Camo Tamok and relax in a traditional Sámi lavvu, a cozy indigenous tent. Enjoy a warm meal and hot drinks by the fire, sharing stories of your adventure with fellow travelers.
