General information

Travel in a spacious and warm bus to our basecamp in Skibotn or Kilpisjärvi, Finland. If it turns out that the conditions for the northern lights are better in Kilpisjärvi, we will drive to our basecamp there. You will arrive at a private camp away from the main road. Enjoy a safe and private basecamp without disturbances from others on your northern lights tour.

We gather around a campfire with seating and the opportunity to grill sausages and marshmallows. You can also taste authentic Norwegian or Sami food.

Listen to storytelling from a local guide about the area and Sami history. It is also possible to warm up indoors. We have access to toilet facilities during your stay.


Included: Bus tour, basecamp, campfire, hot drinks, marshmallows, sausages, taste of local or sami food

Please bring: Warm clothes, warm shoes, camera (cellphone), passport.

We are so fortunate that our hometown, Skibotn, is one of the best places to experience the Northern Lights. We can offer Northern Lights experiences both in Skibotn and in Kilpisjärvi, Finland, depending on where the Northern Lights appear.



We have our own private base camps with a bonfire area where we can gather around the fire and enjoy local or Sami food as well as hot drinks. We have access to toilet facilities, and there are also opportunities to warm up indoors.



Our guests are our main focus, and we want everyone who comes to us to feel well taken care of. We strive to focus on our visitors so that they have an unforgettable Northern Lights experience.
