Join us on a fantastic day, skiing summit to sea and experiencing our majestic mountainous fjords and islands.

General information

All skill levels are welcome. We partner with Tromsø Outdoor for rentals, so you do not need your own gear.

In a full day, we can access several islands, mainland Troms, and Southern Lyngen by road, or take a boat from Ersfjord and access a remote ski island.

These different areas cause microclimates to build different snowpacks. Let our nationally and internationally certified guides help find the best conditions for you and your group and make your skiing dreams come true. TSG has developed operating procedures that mitigate risks and maximize smiles.

Please bring: Alpine Skitouring equipment. Clothes suitable for outdoors activity in the mountains in wintertime and lunch/snacks for 5-9 hours.

About Tromsø Ski Guides

Tromsø Ski Guides offers guided ski touring, avalanche courses and tailor-made mountain experiences in Tromsø, Lyngen and Senja.


Tromsø Ski Guides is a professional guiding company based in Tromsø. The company is run by Lena Dahl, Merrick Johnston and Edda Rainer, with internationally certified and professionally trained guides who have more than 35 years of combined experience.



We offer guided ski touring in the mountains around Tromsø, Lyngen and Senja. The programme ranges from shorter half-day and introductory tours to full-day trips and multi-day ski touring.



Tours are adapted to the participants’ skill level, with options for both beginners and more experienced skiers. We also offer introductory and advanced avalanche courses.



For private groups and companies, Tromsø Ski Guides offers tailor-made tours, events and expeditions.
