Urban experiences meet raw Arctic nature
Tromsø Short Fjords Tour
1400 NOK
per person
A slow paced and short tour around fjords on the Island of Kvaløya. We drive our minibus to visit beautiful fjords of Kvaløya, Håkøya island and the Tirpitz Memorial.
General information
This tour is conducted by Tromsø Accessible Tours.
We leave from the Cruise Port with our minibus and we will drive to Kvaløya Island. Kvaløya has several beautiful fjords and we are going to stop to take pictures close to two of them: Kaldfjord and Ersfjord. The visit continues driving to the beautiful valley of Kattfjordeidet and the guide will tell you more about nature, animals and norwegian outdoor life. The next stop will be to enjoy a little Café and toilet break.
From here, we are moving toward a little island called Håkøya to visit the Memorial of the Tirpitz: a battleship that sank here during the Second World War. We return to Tromsø to the original meeting point.
In all our tours we accept wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility. We are also prepared to guide people with visual or hearing impairments. And we always work on creating a comfortable experience for neurodivergent people as well.
