This tour is operated by Hermes II.

Experience Tromsø from the sea aboard Hermes II, a beautifully restored wooden boat built in 1917. This one-hour cruise through Tromsø Sound combines scenic views, local history and opportunities to photograph the city and surrounding mountains.

As you sail through the sound, your Norwegian- and English-speaking hosts share stories about Hermes II, its history and the surrounding region. The vessel received the City of Tromsø's Cultural Heritage Award in 2021 in recognition of its restoration and preservation.

Along the way, you'll pass carefully selected viewpoints, offering excellent opportunities to capture Tromsø's waterfront and the surrounding Arctic landscape.

The cruise is well suited to families. Children may even have the opportunity to try steering the boat under the skipper's guidance, when conditions allow.

Enjoy the fresh sea air and views from the spacious outdoor deck, or relax in the cosy, heated lounge below deck. Warm blankets, thermal suits and hot drinks are included to make your time on board comfortable.
