Experience Arctic fjord floating in Kaldfjord near Tromsø, surrounded by mountains and Arctic nature. Float comfortably in the cold water wearing an insulated dry suit.

General information

This tour is operated by 10xNorth.

Travel from Tromsø to Kaldfjord, where you will experience Arctic fjord floating surrounded by mountains and Arctic nature. On arrival, you will be provided with a high-quality insulated dry suit designed to keep you warm and comfortable in the cold water.

Once in the fjord, the suit allows you to float effortlessly while taking in the surrounding landscape. No swimming skills are required. In winter, you may float among the ice, while other seasons offer a different experience of the fjord and its surroundings.

Minimum age: 10 years

• High-quality insulated dry suit
• Coffee or tea

• Transport in an air-conditioned vehicle

Food and drink: Coffee or tea and a local snack are included.

Please bring: Warm clothing suitable for the weather, an inner layer to wear underneath the suit and an extra jumper. A T-shirt alone is not sufficient as an inner layer.

Departure time and place: Magic Ice Bar, Kaigata 4, 9008 Tromsø.

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure.

Duration: 3.5 hours

Important information:

• No swimming skills are required.
• Participants must be at least 10 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
• Participants must be in good health and inform 10xNorth of any health issues or concerns that may affect their ability to participate safely.
• Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by 10xNorth and the guides.
• Please arrive at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure. Late or absent participants are not entitled to a refund or rescheduling.
