Experience the Arctic like never before.

General information

This tour is operated by 10xNorth.

Travel from Tromsø to a quiet fjord surrounded by mountains, where you can experience floating in the cold Arctic water under the supervision of certified guides.

You will be provided with a specially designed neoprene immersion suit that keeps you afloat and protects you from the cold water. No swimming skills are required. The guides will assist you throughout the activity and show you how to move safely and comfortably in the water.

During the floating session, you can relax and take in the fjord landscape or try jumping into the water from the jetty. On evening tours from October to March, you may be lucky enough to see the northern lights above the fjord. Northern lights sightings cannot be guaranteed.

After the activity, you will receive a towel and a certificate of completion. You will also receive access to the photos and videos taken during the tour. Coffee or tea and a local snack will be served before the return journey to Tromsø.

Minimum age to participate: 10 years

Important information:

• No swimming skills are required
• The activity is not recommended for pregnant guests or people with heart conditions
• The activity is not wheelchair accessible
• The northern lights may be visible on evening tours from October to March, but sightings cannot be guaranteed

Please bring: Warm clothing suitable for the weather, an inner layer to wear underneath the suit, and an extra jumper. A T-shirt alone is not sufficient as an inner layer
