This tour is operated by Arctic Food Walk.

Explore Tromsø’s culinary scene on foot with a guide, visiting selected restaurants and dining establishments in the city centre. At each stop, you will experience different dishes inspired by ingredients and flavours from Northern Norway.

The menu changes with the seasons and available ingredients. Arctic Food Walk highlights ingredients such as fresh fish and seafood, reindeer and wild berries, prepared by chefs at the restaurants visited during the tour.

Between the food stops, your guide shares short stories about Tromsø and the city’s culture. The main focus of the experience is Tromsø’s food scene, with the walks between restaurants adding a taste of the city along the way.

The experience takes place in small groups with a maximum of 10 guests. The number of stops, courses and departure time depend on the food walk you choose. Private walks are also available on request.

Minimum age to participate: Varies depending on the selected walk. The scheduled food walks currently have an age limit of 18 or 20 years.

Food and drink: The number of courses and what is included vary depending on the selected food walk. Menus are seasonal and may change according to available ingredients.

Please bring: Clothes and footwear suitable for the weather conditions.

Number of participants: Max. 10

Departure time and place: Departure time varies depending on the selected walk. Dinner walks currently depart at 4:30 PM (16:30) or 5:00 PM (17:00), while Saturday lunch walks depart at 12:00 PM. The meeting point is provided with the booking information.

Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours.
