Arctic Route: Svolvær - Å i Lofoten - Svolvær

Travel within Lofoten, between Svolvær and Å i Lofoten.

General information

Our daily-operated bus routes take you from east to west in Lofoten — from Svolvær to Henningsvær, Hamnøy, Reine, the Moskenes ferry, and all the way to Å, the westernmost village in Lofoten. The journey includes three longer sightseeing stops.

Special feature on this route (Svolvær → Å i Lofoten):
You will have one longer sightseeing stop: approximately 60 minutes in Nusfjord around midday. Nusfjord is one of Norway’s best-preserved fjord villages, offering museums, a bakery, bars, restaurants, and galleries. An entrance fee is required to enter this authentic fishing village, and it is included in your Arctic Route ticket (drink/food/toilet facilities available).

Special feature on this route (Å i Lofoten → Svolvær):
You will have two longer sightseeing stops:
– One stop of approximately 30 minutes at Flakstad / Lofoten Beach Camp (drink/food/toilet facilities available).
– One stop of approximately 60 minutes in Henningsvær in the evening (drink/food/toilet facilities available).

Food and drinks for the duration of your trip. At some stops, it will be possible to purchase food and beverages.

Important information:
To switch from the West–East route (Lofoten [Å] – Svolvær) to the North–South route (Tromsø – Lofoten [Svolvær]), an overnight stay in Svolvær is required.
- The Arctic Route bus arrives at the Moskenes ferry station at 13:40, and the ferry departs to Bodø at 14:45.
- The ferry from Bodø arrives in Moskenes at 14:15, and the Arctic Route bus departs from the ferry station at 14:25.
