Join a small-group Northern Lights chase in Tromsø, designed for a personal aurora experience with professional photography support. Your guides will search for the clearest skies and the best possible conditions to see and photograph the Northern Lights.

The tour is operated by an experienced Northern Lights provider with more than a decade of experience. Licensed guides, who are also professional photographers, will help you understand the aurora and assist you with photographing the Northern Lights using your camera or phone.

Duration: 4–8 hours

Departure time and place: The tour start time varies throughout the season. Please check the booking calendar for the correct departure time. The meeting point is NorthernShots Tours, Roald Amundsens plass 1A, 9008 Tromsø.

Important information:

• Minimum group size: A minimum of 5 participants is required for the tour to run. If there are fewer than 5 participants, your tour may be operated by a partner offering a similar tour, rescheduled to another day, or cancelled with a full refund.

• Minimum age: This tour is suitable for children aged 5 and above. When booking, please provide the age, height and weight of any children joining the tour, so we can provide a suitable child seat and thermal suit for their safety and comfort.

• Cancellations: The tour may be cancelled due to extreme weather, unsafe driving conditions or if the minimum group size is not met. If this happens, you will be informed and offered the option to reschedule your tour or receive a full refund.

• Alternative tour option: On evenings when the weather forecast is unfavourable, you may be offered the option to join the coach-based Aurora Chase instead. This tour offers extra comfort on longer journeys. If you choose this option, the price difference between the tours will be refunded.

• Aurora Warranty: The Aurora Warranty applies only to the winter season in which the tour was booked. The warranty is non-transferable, non-cumulative, cannot be combined with other discounts or offers, and cannot be claimed as a refund.
