Join a small-group Northern Lights chase from Tromsø, designed for a personal aurora experience with professional photography support. Your guides monitor weather and cloud conditions throughout the evening to find the clearest skies and the best possible conditions for seeing and photographing the Northern Lights.

NorthernShots Tours has more than ten years of experience with Northern Lights tours. Licensed guides, who are also professional photographers, will share their knowledge of the aurora and help you photograph the Northern Lights using your camera or phone.

Duration: 4–8 hours

Departure time and meeting point: The departure time varies throughout the season. Please check the booking calendar and your booking confirmation for the correct time. The meeting point is NorthernShots Tours, Roald Amundsens plass 1A, 9008 Tromsø.

Important information:

• Minimum group size: A minimum of 5 participants is required for the tour to operate. If there are fewer than 5 participants, the tour may be operated by a partner offering a similar tour, rescheduled to another day or cancelled with a full refund.

• Minimum age: The tour is suitable for children aged 5 and above. When booking, please provide the age, height and weight of any children joining the tour so that a suitable child seat and thermal suit can be provided for their safety and comfort.

• Cancellations: The tour may be cancelled due to extreme weather, unsafe driving conditions or if the minimum group size is not met. If this happens, you will be informed and offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

• Alternative tour option: On evenings with unfavourable weather conditions, you may be offered the option to join the coach-based Aurora Chase instead. This tour provides additional comfort on longer journeys. If you choose this option, the price difference between the tours will be refunded.

• Aurora Warranty: The Aurora Warranty applies only to the winter season in which the tour was booked. The warranty is non-transferable, non-cumulative, cannot be combined with other discounts or offers and cannot be claimed as a refund.
