This tour is operated by Aurora 7.

Your journey begins in Tromsø, where you will meet your guide and receive a briefing on the Northern Lights forecast, photography tips and the evening’s route. Before heading out, you will also have the option to borrow thermal gear, ensuring that you stay warm throughout the experience.

The Arctic weather is unpredictable, but with local expertise and live updates, we will navigate to the best locations, whether along dramatic fjords, in open valleys or beside frozen lakes, maximising your chances of seeing the aurora. If cloud cover blocks the view in Tromsø, we will continue the chase inland or even across the border into Finland, where the dry continental climate often offers clearer skies.

Once we find the perfect spot, you can set up your camera while enjoying warm drinks and traditional Norwegian snacks.

When the Northern Lights dance across the sky, your guide will help you capture stunning photos, ensuring that you return home with lasting memories of this Arctic wonder.

After an unforgettable night under the stars, we will return safely to Tromsø. You will receive professional photos from your experience, available online free of charge within 48 hours of the tour.
