Situated on the Northern Norwegian coast, Tromsø is a city shaped by the sea, the mountains, and its diverse cultural heritage. This guided culinary walk invites you to explore traditional and modern cuisine in unique, historic and contemporary locations around the city center.

Full Steam: Begin your journey at this restored 19th-century fishing wharf building, where you'll learn about Tromsø’s fishing heritage while sampling Arctic seafood.

Dragøy at the Fish Market: Meet local fishmongers and taste freshly prepared king crab while hearing stories of Tromsø’s seafaring past.

Bardus Bistro: End on a modern note with reindeer-inspired dishes in one of Tromsø’s most beloved bistros, blending contemporary cuisine with traditional flavors.

Our company started up as Lofoten Guide Service in 2001. In 2006, we established the daughter company Tromsø Guide Service, localized in Tromsø, and further expanded to North Cape in 2009. Since the beginning, we have been the guide service of choice for many tour operators, cruise companies and the well-known costal steamer, Hurtigruten.



We have established ourselves as the leading contractor and guide service in the northern parts of Norway. During the high season we engage around 100 guides and offer tours in a wide range of language: English, German, Spanish, Norwegian, Italian, French and Japanese.
