About us

Our extensive local knowledge and experience, together with our long-standing relationships with local businesses, help ensure that you and your fellow travellers get the most out of a visit to the Arctic region. We cater for groups of all sizes, from guests arriving on large cruise ships and private coach groups to families and individual travellers. Whether your stay lasts a few hours, a full day or several days, we provide expert guides in several languages.

The company started as Lofoten Guide Service in 2001. In 2006, we established the subsidiary Tromsø Guide Service, based in Tromsø, and expanded further to the North Cape in 2009. Since the beginning, we have been the guide service of choice for many tour operators, cruise companies and the well-known coastal route operator Hurtigruten.

We have established ourselves as a leading guide service and contractor in Northern Norway. During the high season, we engage around 100 guides and offer tours in a wide range of languages: English, German, Spanish, Norwegian, Italian, French and Japanese. Other languages may be available upon request.
