Evening Snowmobile Safari in the Lyngen Alps

Join a guided snowmobile safari through the beautiful winter landscapes of outer Lyngen. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, vast Arctic wilderness and stunning coastal views, you'll experience the impressive Lyngen Alps from a different perspective.

The adventure begins with a safety briefing and an introduction to operating the snowmobile. After receiving the necessary equipment, you'll take a short transfer to the starting point. From here, follow the snowmobile trail up into the mountains. The route begins with easy, flat sections, giving you time to become familiar with the snowmobile before continuing further into the mountain landscape.

Along the way, your guide will make several stops, giving you time to take photos and enjoy the scenery. Experiencing the towering peaks of the Lyngen Alps up close, with the sea just below, makes this a particularly memorable Arctic adventure.

Two guests share each snowmobile, with the opportunity to switch drivers approximately halfway through the tour, provided both hold a valid driving licence.

The snowmobile safari is available during the day and in the evening. On the evening tour, you'll explore the Arctic winter landscape after dark. If weather conditions and aurora activity are favourable, you may also have the chance to see the Northern Lights above the Lyngen Alps.

• Snowmobile shared between two guests
• Necessary winter and safety equipment

Please bring: Warm clothing suitable for the weather conditions.

Departure times:
• Daytime tour: 10:45 AM
• Evening tour: 8:00 PM (20:00)

Meeting point for the evening tour: Lyngen Experience Activity Hub, Sandnesveien 36, 9068 Nord-Lenangen.

Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours on the snowmobile. The full evening experience lasts approximately 3 hours, including the safety briefing and local transfer.

Important information:
• All snowmobile drivers must hold a valid category B driving licence.
• Drivers must not have consumed alcohol before the activity.
• Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed.
• The route and programme may be adjusted depending on weather conditions and the group.
• A minimum of 2 participants is required.
