Experience the Northern Lights in the Planetarium

Visit Norway’s largest planetarium, where amazing shows come alive and the Northern Lights never miss an appearance.

About us

Visit the Science Centre of Northern Norway.

The Science Centre’s Northern Lights planetarium show, Extreme Auroras, is a documentary and spectacular fulldome screening that presents the Northern Lights through science, history and myth. Under the planetarium dome, you can experience the Northern Lights every day, whatever the weather.

The show is screened at least once daily. All planetarium shows and admission to the Science Centre are included in the ticket. Here, the whole family can play, explore and have fun with science and technology through almost 100 interactive installations.

For the full programme, changes and screenings outside the regular schedule, see the programme.

In addition, we show the film of the day between the other screenings. These are mainly cartoons in Norwegian. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our films and screenings.

All films can be shown on request.
