Farmers Dinner at Yggdrasil Farmhotel

We are proud of our kitchen, where food is prepared from scratch using carefully selected Norwegian ingredients. Our menus are inspired by traditional Northern Norwegian cuisine and by recipes and traditions passed down through generations.

At Yggdrasil, we believe in taking the time to prepare food properly. Our dishes are made using traditional methods, much like the food once prepared in our grandmothers’ kitchens. Some of the recipes we use today have been passed down through our own family.

Our Farmers Dinner is a three-course dining experience based on Norwegian and Northern Norwegian food traditions. Guests can choose between several menus featuring traditional flavours and ingredients from the region.

Vegetarian alternatives are also available.

More than just a meal, we want your visit to offer an introduction to Northern Norwegian food culture, history and life on the farm.

Transportation

Please note that transportation is not included in the booking.

Private transfers can be arranged from Tromsø city centre or Tromsø Airport. A minimum of two people is required.

From Tromsø Airport: from NOK 1200 for two people

From Tromsø city centre: from NOK 1400 for two people

You can also travel by public transport. Regional bus 420 towards Hillesøy departs from Prostneset Bus and Ferry Terminal in Tromsø.
