Fjord Cruise to Sommarøy aboard MS Gabriele

The fjord cruise departs from Tromsø aboard MS Gabriele, a spacious catamaran with heated indoor seating, panoramic windows and outdoor viewing decks. During the journey, you will experience the coastal landscapes of the Tromsø region, including fjords, mountains, islands and small coastal communities.

Along the way, the guide will share stories about the region’s nature, history and coastal culture. Wildlife such as sea eagles, seals and seabirds may also be spotted, but sightings cannot be guaranteed.

The cruise includes a stop of approximately one hour on Sommarøy. You can explore the island community independently, take a short walk or enjoy the coastal surroundings before returning to the vessel.

MS Gabriele has several toilets and an onboard kiosk where you can purchase light snacks and hot and cold drinks.

Please bring: Warm clothing suitable for changing Arctic weather conditions, warm footwear, a hat and mittens.

Departure time and place: 9 AM (09:00) from Nerstrandkaia, behind Alti Nerstranda shopping centre in Tromsø city centre. Boarding starts at 8:30 AM (08:30).
