This tour is conducted by Hermes II. Our wooden boat from 1917 represents a piece of Northern Norwegian coastal history. Feel the calm as we sail out of Tromsø’s harbor towards nearby fjords and islands. Enjoy the stunning views, explore the beautifully restored vessel, and discover the
fascinating story of Hermes II. The peace and quiet on board is something our guests
truly appreciate – and the photo opportunities are endless.

Highlights:

  • Hear the story of Hermes II from 1917 learn more about Tromsø`s surroundings and the warship Tirpitz which was sunk just outside Tromsø in 1944
  • Frequent sightings of white tailed eagles, seals and sometimes reindeers on
    shore (less during the Polar Night period November- January)
  • Scenic cruise among fjords and islands outside Tromsø
  • Taste the Norwegian traditional fish cake from our local Fish Monger
