Guided Tour of the Sámi Exhibitions

General information

Learn about an Indigenous people’s culture and way of life, shaped by a northern climate over thousands of years. Follow the history of the Sámi people from pre-Christian times, through changes and developments in society, to the ongoing struggle for the right to their own culture, language and identity.

The museum has comprehensive exhibitions about Sámi culture. On this guided tour, you will learn about both traditional Sámi culture and Sámi society today, presented by one of our experienced guides.

Tickets can be purchased online (see calendar). Same-day tickets are also available at the museum if spaces are available.
