About us

With room for 150 hungry guests, Hard Rock Cafe Tromsø is the northernmost Hard Rock Cafe in the world. The house that houses our cafe was built in 1868 and has a storied history. Home to several families, our building was known as Fritz G Zapffe’s pharmacy "Apotek Nordstjernen" (Northern Star) from 1915 to 1976. This beautiful old wooden house has also featured several bars and restaurants, and now Hard Rock Cafe is proud to call it home.
