On this tour, we walk through Tromsø’s historical quarters and visit sites that tell the stories of the people who shaped the city from its founding in 1794 to the present day. The walk begins at Perspektivet Museum and includes stops at several historical landmarks that together reveal how Tromsø’s past connects across generations.
Along the way, you’ll learn about Sami culture in an interactive way and receive a full introduction to Sami mythology from a Sami cultural bearer who grew up learning these stories as his ancestors did.
