About us

Husfliden Tromsø is centrally located in Tromsø city centre. The shop offers Norwegian bunads, yarn, gifts and decorative and practical handicrafts.

We specialise in bunads, Norway’s traditional folk costumes, from Nordland, Troms and Finnmark. Our bunads are made to last for generations, with room for alterations when needed.

Bunad services

Does your bunad still fit as it should? We offer fitting, alterations and repairs to help you care for your bunad and continue using it for years to come. Our specialists can assess the garment and make the necessary adjustments.

Yarn and knitting

Our yarn department offers a wide selection from Rauma Ullvarefabrikk and Danish supplier Isager. You will also find yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk and Lang Yarns, as well as locally hand-dyed Finull.

The shop also stocks knitting and crochet accessories, and patterns can be purchased through Ravelry in the shop.

Our knowledgeable staff are happy to help you begin a new knitting project or develop your skills further.
