Maskinverkstedet combines North Norwegian food culture with historic industrial surroundings dating from 1911.

General information

Maskinverkstedet is located in a historic workshop dating from 1911. Its massive steel structures and old machinery have been preserved and combined with modern décor and comfortable seating.

The menu is inspired by North Norwegian food culture and features dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The selection includes seafood, meat dishes and vegetarian alternatives.

We offer a wide range of flavors and atmospheres at our locations that are centrally located in the center of Tromsø. The places offer something for everyone from meat and fish to vegetarian options.
