About us

AudioGuide NorwayStory is part of Johnsen & Johnsen Productions SA, which started as a performing arts company with professional actors and playwrights. We have toured the world with high-quality theatre productions, and since 2014 we’ve collaborated with Tromsø’s museums on audiovisual art projects that have reached more than 4,000 museum visitors.
One of these projects is the exhibition about the author Cora Sandel, which will remain at Perspektivet Museum until 2026.
Our theatre play A Unique Human Being received glowing 5-star reviews at major festivals in Edinburgh and Brighton. It was also selected to represent Europe at Women Playwrights International in Chile in 2018. In London, the script was published in the prestigious Oberon Anthology of Contemporary Norwegian Plays.

For people with disabilities, all routes can be played from home, in the car, or wherever you like – no matter where you are. The texts are also available in written form in the app, making them accessible to people with hearing impairments.
If you want to experience the routes on location, it’s important that the area is wheelchair-accessible and easy to navigate – most experiences take place outdoors in the streets.

At the moment, our routes are best suited for teenagers and adults.

Since everything is digital, our environmental impact is minimal – no paper, no plastic, and no long-distance transport.
