Join a small-group Northern Lights chase and stargazing tour from Skjervøy, north of Tromsø. Travelling by minivan allows the guide to adjust the route in search of clearer skies and suitable locations away from light pollution.

During the tour, your astronomy guide will share information about the Northern Lights and the Arctic night sky. A spotting scope provides a closer look at stars, planets and other features of the night sky. When conditions are clear, you may also see the Milky Way or shooting stars.

If the Northern Lights appear, the guide can help you photograph them and offer practical photography tips. However, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Even when the aurora remains hidden by clouds or snow showers, the tour offers an opportunity to experience the darkness, stillness and star-filled skies of the Arctic. Along the way, you can enjoy a hot drink and stop at peaceful locations chosen according to the evening’s conditions.
