Northern Lights Chase by Electric Car from Tromsø

General information

This tour is operated by Arctic Cruise in Norway. 

Leave the lights of Tromsø behind and search for the Northern Lights on a comfortable tour through the Arctic landscape. 

During the journey, your local guide will tell you about Tromsø, the surrounding nature and stories from the region. The route is planned according to the weather conditions and Northern Lights forecast, allowing the guide to search for the best available viewing conditions. 

With a maximum of seven guests, the tour offers a relaxed and personal experience. The itinerary is flexible, and the group may remain longer at a location when the conditions look promising. 

Depending on the number of guests, driving range and operational requirements, the tour may be conducted in a Tesla or a Mercedes vehicle. An upgrade to a Porsche Cayenne Electric may be available upon request for an additional charge. 

During the tour, you will be served coffee, tea or hot chocolate and a traditional Norwegian lefse. The guide will also take photographs, which will be shared with you after the tour. 

At the end of the experience, you will receive a personalised digital artwork inspired by your Northern Lights experience and the scenery of Northern Norway.

• Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed. Weather, cloud cover and light conditions vary, making every tour different. 
• The route and destination are determined according to the weather conditions and Northern Lights forecast. 
• The vehicle used depends on the number of guests, driving range and operational requirements. 
• Warm thermal suits must be requested in advance. 
• An upgrade to a Porsche Cayenne Electric may be available upon request for an additional charge. 
• The duration may vary depending on the conditions and how far the group needs to travel.

Departure time and place: Departure is at 7 PM (19:00) or 10 PM (22:00), depending on the season. Please check the calendar for the departure time on your chosen date. The meeting point is outside the main entrance of Scandic Ishavshotel, Fredrik Langes gate 2, 9008 Tromsø
