Northern Lights Chase by Minivan from Tromsø

This tour is operated by Green Gold of Norway.

Join a Northern Lights chase from Tromsø in a small group with a maximum of eight guests. Each evening, the guide uses the latest weather forecast to choose the area around Tromsø with the best chance of clear skies.

The tour starts outside the main entrance of the Radisson Blu Hotel. From here, you will walk approximately 100 metres to the Green Gold of Norway office. Before departure, you will receive tips on camera or mobile phone settings for photographing in the dark and capturing the Northern Lights.

You will also be provided with a warm thermal suit and boots before getting into the minivan and heading out in search of the best conditions for the evening.

How quickly the Northern Lights may appear varies from night to night. Sometimes they may already be visible when you arrive, while on other evenings a little more patience is required. Coffee, tea and muffins are served while you wait.

The guide will also take photos during the tour, which will be sent to you by email afterwards.
