General information
This guided coach tour combines expert Aurora Hunter guides, real-time aurora tracking, and modern coach transfers to maximise your chances of witnessing the Aurora Borealis.
Your evening begins at a central meeting point in Tromsø, where you meet your guide and set out in search of clear skies. The route is flexible, allowing travel up to around two hours from Tromsø as conditions change, moving through fjords, islands, and valleys to find the best possible viewing locations.
Throughout the journey, hot drinks and light snacks (muffins and hot blueberry juice) are provided to keep you comfortable in Arctic conditions. When the Northern Lights appear, professional photos of you under the aurora are included.
Along the way, your guide shares insights into the science of the aurora, Arctic nature, local stories, and photography techniques. The tour typically lasts between 4 and 6 hours, offering a well-paced and memorable Arctic experience suitable for couples, families, and groups.
Included: Pickup and drop-off in Tromsø city centre, professional Northern Lights guides and photographers, a modern heated vehicle with spacious seating and strong safety features, professional DSLR photos delivered securely online, and hot drinks with light snacks
Please bring: Warm winter clothing (layered), hat, gloves, and winter boots. A camera or smartphone is optional. Please also bring any personal items you may need during a longer Arctic night.
