Northern Lights tour with Local Experts

Join a small-group Northern Lights chase from Tromsø with a maximum of 18 guests. Before and during the tour, the guides monitor weather forecasts, cloud cover and aurora activity to choose the most suitable route for the evening. Depending on the conditions, the tour may take you through fjords, valleys and Arctic landscapes in search of clearer skies.

Throughout the evening, the guides share stories about Arctic life, local culture and the science behind the Northern Lights. Several stops may be made along the way to enjoy the surroundings, take photos and watch for the Northern Lights.

When conditions allow, the group stops for hot drinks, light snacks and a campfire. Thermal suits are provided to help keep you warm while spending time outdoors.

Professional photos taken during the tour are included and shared with guests afterwards. Please remember that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
